After convincing Mrs. Yamamoto to use Microsoft EntraID by saying her husband hated this idea, we now needed to convince Mr. Yamamoto to do so as well.

Remember Mr. Yamamoto wanted to use FaceBook Authentication since he used FB a lot to post pictures of the various tours that he organized. We wanted to get him to use Microsoft.

Prior to meeting with him, Haruna and I met up to discuss our strategy.

"所以妳會用同樣的邏輯改他的想法嗎？ 跟他說他老婆最恨微軟？[So you going to use the same technique on him that you used on the wife? Tell him that his significant other hates EntraID to get him interested?]" I asked.

"哎呀，當然不會啊。 你們男生們想法完全不一樣。[Oh, of course not. You guys operate on a totally different set of rules.]" replied Haruna. "這就也交給我吧。[Just leave this to me also.]"

Sure enough during the meeting the following exchange took place.

"山本様[So Mr. Yamamoto]" said Haruna. "ここのオプションに、グーグルとフェイスブックの値段は大体同じでマイクロソフトはもちょっと低いです。[Of the three options, FaceBook and Google and about the same price... MICROSOFT IS A BIT CHEAPER ...]"

And of course, Mr. Yamamoto went for the cheaper option.

Haruna also told him that she'd "convince his wife to accept this option" as well. To actually get them a cheaper price for the MS service, we ended up giving them a small discount, but it was totally worth it since it meant a lot less frivolous coding which I needed to do.

After the contract was signed, I had to admit, I was impressed. She managed to manipulate both sides into accepting what we wanted AND made each side think it was THEIR own idea.

"通常， 不是完全。。。女生都會想要男生最不想要的。。。[Usually, not always, girls always want things that the guy hates...] said Haruna.

"男生會想要最便宜的。。。[And the guys always want what's cheapest.]" I replied.

"對！[Right！]" said Haruna with a smile.

"You know Haruna, you're pretty slick" I said to her in English.

"It's about time you said something nice to me." she replied with a smile.

"我們明天一早就要搭飛機到洛然後開車到拉斯維加斯。你晚上想吃什麼呢？ [we need to catch a flight to LA early tomorrow and then drive to Vegas. What you do want to eat tonight?]" I asked.

"我也不知道。你想吃啥呢? [I don't know. What do you want?]" she replied.

Hmmm... I thought for a second ..

"Anything but Loco Moco ok? I just am a bit tired of that now." I replied. "How about Kailua Pork, or the Mahi Shrimp?"

Haruna thought for a second...

"哎呀，我有點想吃Loco Moco耶。可以嗎？ [Oh I sort of want to eat Loco Moco. Is that okay?]" said Haruna.

I shook my head in annoyance.

"Oh Jesus Christ." I replied. "Let's go ... "

"YES! 謝謝你！ [THANK YOU!]“ said Haruna with a big smile.

As we started to walk out ... she suddenly looked at me with fury.

"YOU WANTED TO EAT LOCO MOCO, DIDN'T YOU???" asked Haruna angrily.

I did my best to make my "look innocent while caught red-handed" face.

"JOHN!! I HATE YOU!!!"
