Over the weekend, I stopped by Surfer's Coffee, located just off of Interstate H2 in Wahiawa, Hawaii.
It's probably my favorite coffee shop in the US. It's quite a distance away from Waikiki (it takes about 30 minutes to drive and 2 hours by bus). But the advantage is the there are no tourists here. Pretty much here is all local and really friendly.
In addition the place has pretty much everything a digital noman like me needs ... (ie. power outlets for my MacBook Pro 17 and fast WIFI)
It's extremely relaxed, and a nice change of pace from what one would see in Waikiki.
