One of my favorite games of the 1990s was RASTAN by Taito. It's a side-scrolling "hack and slash-em" up where you play a CONAN-type character that needs to complete several stages of monster killing before you defeat the final boss ... a fire breathing dragon.
For some odd reason, whenever I played this game ... it always reminded me of the song "Carry On" ... because the tambourine sounds an a lot like the sounds of the monsters getting killed ...
