Gallery Place - Metro Station

While in DC, I took this shot at Gallery Place - which is one of the Metro stations right on the DC/Virginia border.

Construction started in the 70s, and .... and it shows. It really has the feel of what people of that period thought the future should look like.

I can really imagine this type of design in SCI-FI films of that period like Logan's Run or THX-1138 !
