Hugh Jackman, DeadPool 3, and Quantum Mechanics

So as of yesterday Hugh Jackman is confirmed to be back as Wolverine in the next Deadpool.

I'm interersted to see how this will fit into the MCU/Xmen continuity.. after all he did DIE in "Logan".... will this just be another Wolverine from another universe?

Probably so (remember Professor X in Dr. Strange).

I suppose if you take this to the limit, we can explain away all TV/Movie inconsistencies with this.

I guess we have different universes where:

• Various James Bonds exist ... with one that looks like the actor Sean Connery, another that looks like Roger Moore, etc...
• Various Captain Kirks exist with one that looks like Chris Pine, and another that looks like Shatner
• In one, the MOTHER from "How I met your mother" died and another where she survived... (for that matter all alternate endings could be construed as another universe outcome...)

Effectively, modern movies have embraced the "many worlds" hypothesis of quantum mechanics. Effectively what this theory says is that every possible world does exist. But at the moment, with current technology, we're confined to experience only one of those.
