The first trailer for the new Anthony Bourdain biopic is out starring Dominic Sessa.
It seems from the trailer that the picture just focused on the early days of his life; most likely when he was in New York or in Provincetown, MA.
To be honest, I am not sure how I feel about this. My one hope is that the movie at least attempts to present some balanced picture of his life; and doesn't just portray him as some depressed lunatic.
After his tragic passing numerous works have come out which dwell on these more depressive aspects ... and I, for one, have had enough.
There's no doubt in my mind that the Anthony that we saw on his shows was NOT the real Anthony Bourdain ... but that's fine with me.
After all, do we ever see anyone without some amount "window dressing?"
